RAF Waddington Golf Course

RAF Waddington Golf Course is a Members club in Waddington Lincolnshire, the main course is a Parkland type with 9 holes over 5107 yards with a par of 70.

Waddington GC was formed on a self help basis in the early 50's by a willing band of servicemen. The current course plays of 18 tee boxes to 10 Greens. The 3rd & 12th has the unusual feature of a large tree in the middle of the green. During the past 10 years the course has become more defined with the planting of many trees. There has been considerable investment in the course infrastructure and care over recent years resulting in a much improved course, due mostly to the hard work by our Greens Keeper. The Clubhouse is an old Canadian Pine billet which was converted into a cricket pavilion but now serves as a Clubhouse. Adjacent to the Clubhouse is a locker room where members and casual players are able to book in to the course, pay Green Fees and peruse competition results. Being on RAF Waddington airfield presents its problems for visitors as you will need to be escorted. This does mean that it cannot be done but you cannot turn up at the maingate and expect to play, unfortunately.
