Set at the North Western end of the Cotswolds on a high plateau above the sleepy hidden valleys that form the watershed between the Thames & Severn, we are a traditional and very friendly Club, rated one of England's top 175 golf courses by the Peugeot Golf Guide and welcoming Society groups to our easy walking but gorse lined heathland course on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays. We have a reputation for good "home cooking" provided by our team of ladies some of whom have been with us for over 15 years. Our bar now stocks the local beer from the independent Hook Norton Brewery. The Club was established on it's present site in 1922 designed by Cecil Hutchison who worked with others on West Sussex, Ashridge, Gleneagles & Turnberry. The clubhouse is based around a farmhouse built in 1783 and the sandy sub soil means the course is rarely closed for play and is "an ideal place for a beautiful golf course, the land having everything in its favour and the surroundings splendid in every way"
