Description

Since opening in May 2000, Killerig Golf Club has very quickly earned a reputation for having some of the finest greens in Ireland. Surrounded by a fabulous scenic hinterland landscape and framed on the west by the Killeshin Hills, Killerig Castle Golf & Country Club (plc) has constructed a superb new Par 72 Championship Golf Course at Killerig Cross, Carlow. Playable all year round, Killerig provides a stimulating game with water in play on 6 of its 18 USGA specifications greens. A range of tees ensures that everyone is catered for, from the big hitter to the more casual player. The course has been imaginatively designed by Des Smyth, assisted by Declan Branigan, and constructed by Paddy Governey and his golf course design and marketing company to create a most exciting & challenging golf experience in rich parkland reflecting the beauty of Carlows panoramic landscape.
