Description

Lanark Golf Club is the 25th oldest golf club in the world. It is a Moorland Course with sandy sub soil which plays like a links course during the summer months. It is renowned for its smooth fast greens and wonderful countryside scenery. The Regional Qualifier for the "Open" has been held at Lanark on numerous occassions in the past. More recently the British Girls in 2004, the Scottish Boys in 2001 were played at Lanark. This year (2009) the Scottish Girls Championship is being hosted in July.
