Description

18 hole challenging Parklands course with superb views over the Solway Firth and Galloway Hills. Colvend was founded in 1905 and originally designed by Willie Fernie. The 9 holes was altered by the Dave Thomas/Peter Allies group. 1997 saw the course extend to 18 holes and has became very popular visitors returning year after year. Colvend is situated on the A710 Solway Coast road from Dumfries, 6 miles from Dalbeattie.
