This splendid 6,337 yard Silver Medal Golf Course at Moors Valley has all the character expected from a top quality course. Designed by renowned architect Martin Hawtree, we are located within an area of outstanding natural beauty. On the edge of the 750 acre Moors Valley Country Park and Forest site the player will quite literally be taken aback by this magnificent environment. Laid down on ancient Dorset heathland, the rolling terrain leads golfers through dog-legs toward lush greens, set against the backdrop of the Ringwood Forest. Gorse flowers provide a vibrant splash of yellow, complimenting the bracken and small birches, oak, pine and wet meadow. The course, divided by the meandering of the Moors River between the Crane and Moors Lakes, also provides a safe haven to an abundance of birds and wildlife. Off-course facilities (4-hole Short Course, practice nets, chipping & putting greens and bunker) and Golf Shop, Spikes bar and Seasons restaurant, make for a truly worthwhile golfing experience.
